SUMMER PACK TRIPS
We offer custom-built summer pack trips to suit your group’s specific needs.
Whether you’re wanting a low-key three-day trip to bring the kids on or an epic ten-day, progressive adventure, we can build a trip for you! Being permitted on two separate forests (Shoshone and Bridger-Teton) gives us tons of country to explore.
We travel in comfort! Every trip will include great cooking, tents, cots and foam mattresses, no one sleeps on the ground! North-west Wyoming offers amazing fishing, horseback riding, photography and wildlife viewing options. Let us create the perfect trip for you!
Travel the trails forged by the mountain men of the early 1800’s with the experienced guides of Double R Ranch. Ride deep into the most remote wilderness in the lower 48-the Bridger-Teton and Shoshone National Forests areas of Yellowstone in Wyoming.
Design your own trip of 3 to 10 days, camping in comfort, traveling at a leisurely pace among the most beautiful scenery this country has to offer. Horseback riding, world-class fishing, and photographic opportunities abound. The best fishing is in July, the best weather in August. Small groups of 2 to 10 guests mean personal attention, and handicapped and other special groups are welcome.
All trips include tents, cots, horses, guide, cook, meals and beverages. We do not provide pop or alcoholic beverages but we will pack them for you. We can help you with reservations in Cody country, or you can choose to stay with us at the ranch. Please check in at the Ranch after 3 pm the day before your trip. All guides are licensed and bonded.
Whatever your interests–fishing, sightseeing, photography, riding–Double R Ranch can put together a trip you’ll remember for a lifetime.
